About Me

Hi! I’m Mandee Furnivall.

I’m a New England native now residing in Indiana with my husband and our two furbabies. As an artist with a heart for animals, I’ve been drawing them since I could hold a crayon. Growing up in New England, I developed a love for the sea and I enjoy incorporating its beauty into my work.

I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Texas at Arlington, majoring in Visual Communication and minoring in Art History. During college, I worked in dog grooming, where I gained valuable experience handling various dog breeds and understanding their behaviors. This hands-on experience deepened my love for animals and enhanced my artistic skills, providing a solid foundation for my future work.

I began painting pet portraits for fun. This hobby soon evolved into a professional pursuit, and I have been creating pet portraits professionally since 2020. Each portrait is a labor of love, capturing the unique personality and essence of every animal.

I continue to find inspiration in my surroundings and the animals I adore. Our pets are our family, and through my art, I strive to honor the special bond we share with them.
